Interior design of a traditional Lithuanian architecture villa in a suburban area in Alytus, Lithuania. The idea of interior design of this project is based on a modern interpretation of Lithuania “hanging straw gardens’ ‘ – when the structural elements from the architecture are visible in the interior spaces and become the most important interior architecture elements. In this project we pay high attention to the details – recessed details, shadow gaps, delicate and thoughtful materiality, the connection between architecture and interior design.  Villa is surrounded by many forests, hilly landscape and apple trees. The garden and interior of it do not compete with natural surroundings, rather blend with it and become a basis for komorebi on the interior walls.
