DESCRIPTION

Modular summer house of 35 sq. m. – a perfect choice for a compact living during weekend or a short summer vacation stay. The space is divided into private, semi-private and open to the public. Interior strategy for the summer house provides the possibility to transform inner spaces thus introducing flexibility between privacy and spaciousness according to the particular needs of the moment.
The floor area can be expanded during the summer time making the house become one entity with the forest surroundings During winter the building can “contract” to bare minimum – an envelope of the functional program.
The volume is divided by an inner courtyard into two parts – a summer house and a sauna. This inner courtyard provides a private entrance through the stone garden while also framing the view of the lake as you are approaching the building.
