DESCRIPTION

The project is located in the newly developed PAUPYS area in Vilnius, Lithuania. The quarter joins the urban environment together with nature – there is a small river flowing, surrounded by trees and greenery, and small parks.
The task was to create a functional space, which will be suitable both for young people and mature couples to stay in. Timeless and simple Scandinavian design was created using natural materials, such as green marble stone, natural oak veneer and parquet.
The main idea was to have harmonious connection between the outside (the river and greenery area) with the inside. The kitchen worktop continues as a dining bar zone and becomes a TV table – this line represents the river. Furniture color palette uses natural colors – green and sand to brown tones – stones in the river bank, the ground and trees.
Entrance hall together with an integrated wardrobe and on the other side – kitchen front were combined into one solid volume creating a central and symmetrical composition from the living room area, leaving as much as possible open space in this small 56 sq. m. 2 rooms apartment.
